We provide young people in North East Norfolk adventure and Skills for Life every week
Volunteering. It's #GoodForYou.
Volunteering's not just about giving back - it goes both ways. It improves your wellbeing, gives you skills for the future, and helps you make new friends (and memories).

AS SCOUTS, WE BELIEVE IN EMPOWERING YOUNG PEOPLE WITH SKILLS FOR LIFE.
North East Norfolk District has various Groups in the area running sections and exciting programme allowing the young people to earn badges covering Adventure - Outdoors - Skills - The World - Teamwork - Leadership - Creativity and Community. We also have Air Scouts and Sea Scouts!
Scouts is for everyone. If you have any questions about accessibility, have a chat with your local leader. By being upfront about additional needs from the start, we can work together to make sure everyone can join in the fun on their own terms.
Lots of young people are itching to join Scouts, so you might need to wait for a space to become available.
If your local Troop has a waiting list, parents and other adults might be able to solve the problem. We don’t just need swashbuckling adventurers to lead expeditions. We also need listeners, tidy-uppers and tea-makers, for as little or as much time as they can spare. If your parents or carers are curious about giving it a go but don’t want to overcommit, why not ask them to complete our four-week volunteering challenge? Every hour counts, and everyone is welcome.
Under 18s
Parents tell us their children benefit hugely from the adventures, fun and friendships they experience. It can help develop your child’s social skills and independence, and give them access to some amazing and memorable opportunities.
